These are our VALUES: We believe that we have been called by the Grace of God to be intentional about being and producing authentic followers of Jesus Christ!  As you are becoming a Disciple, there are some essential practices which must be part of this journey:

We want to recognize and respond to what God has done and what God is doing in us through WORSHIP.  This is done corporately through listening to scripture and preaching and through singing, liturgy and through the Sacraments.

We also understand the value of our inward response to God.  We value the growth of DEVOTION to God through the practice of spiritual disciplines, such as prayer, fasting and scripture reading.

We also believe that as a disciple becomes more like Christ, that they also practice the essential value of STEWARDSHIP.  We must recognize that our resources, time and talents belong to God and that He desires to use them to build His Kingdom through us.

We also believe that we are called to WITNESS to the work of God in our lives.  This means that we take seriously our role in spreading the message of the Gospel to others, through our words and through our actions.

 

This is our MISSION:

We want you to become part of the Body of Christ here at Waterloo—to become part of our family.  To We believe that there are three ESSENTIAL MILESTONES to fully becoming part of what God is doing here at Waterloo:

· We want you to become part of our family through WORSHIP

· We want you to become part of our family through CONNECTING with others in a small group or Sunday School class.

· We want you to become part of our family through SERVING others, both within and outside the walls of the church.
